Wildlife Physiology Lab
The Wildlife Physiology Laboratory is located in the Forestry Building, room 214, on the West Lafayette Campus. The lab enables students and scientists to prepare organic samples for stable isotope analysis, metabolite profiling, and a variety of other physiological and ecological analyses. Available equipment includes a fume hood, drying oven, mixer mill (Retsch MM200), balance, and centrifuge. Current and past research projects investigate resource use and diet in free-ranging wildlife using stable isotope analysis and the stress response of wildlife in response to various human activities.
