FNR SPRING CAREER FAIR
FNR CAREER FAIR
February 26, 2016 / 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. / Pfendler Hall

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend. The event will be held in Pfendler Hall and will feature over 30 employers specifically seeking FNR students.

February 26, 2016 / 10:00a-3:00p / Pfendler Hall
Some tips to make the event successful for you and the employers:

EVERY student should plan to attend – to meet alumni working in your field of interest, to network, or to find a summer seasonal or full-time opportunity.

Use this event as a networking opportunity.  If you do not wish to be employed by any of the representing employers, the representatives can still give you excellent advice and possibly connect you to your ideal employer!

Bring your résumé.

Be sure to stop by the student registration table (by the elevator) to register by dropping off your résumé

Don’t be surprised if an employer does not take your résumé.  Many employers will ask you to apply online.

Read through the FNR Career Fair website for information on how to prepare for a career fair.

Read through the CCO Handbook - pages 45-46 have tips for attending a career fair.

Research the employers listed below, links are provided.

Know the skills and abilities that you have that might set you apart from other candidates, be ready to share with the representatives.

Prepare your introduction – how will you approach the representative?
