Requirements

  • 2 or 4 year degree REQUIRED in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture or related discipline.
  • ISA Certified Arborist, or ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
  • 1 – 2 Years Forestry Experience or similar field-based work (i.e. traditional, residential,
    commercial, municipal, state, federal forestry, etc.).
  • Computer proficiency with GIS and common business software including, but not limited to the
    full Microsoft Office Suite (Excel used daily).
  • Current Driver’s License and Driving Record in good standing.
  • General knowledge of regional tree species and physiology.
  • Professional work habits driven by Safety, Quality, Teamwork, and Communication.
  • Ability to hike and drive year-round in rugged terrain and inclement weather when required.
  • Proven success working independently, illustrating time management and organizational skills.
  • Desire to complete Continuing Education extension courses and obtain industry-specific licenses
    or certifications.
