However, because his project is supported by federal funding, he is also required to comply with mandates for open and accessible data. These\u00a0federal directives\u00a0aim to provide evidence for scientists and decision-makers around the world and fuel entrepreneurship, innovation and scientific discovery.<\/p>\n<p>Ebner\u2019s project is one of six supported by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ag.purdue.edu\/food-safety-innovation-lab\/\">Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Safety (FSIL)<\/a>, based at Purdue University and Cornell University.
