These symptoms can either occur within a couple of days or up to a month from when the contaminated food was consumed. The most common way to become infected by Listeria is be consuming contaminated deli meat or dairy products. Listeria can also survive freezing and refrigeration. This product was distributed under various brands to various supermarkets, wholesale and retail stores. The recalled product was sold in the following states: CT, NJ, PA, NY, VA, NC, and MD. The company also states that the product could have been sold in smaller packages. This means the product could have different labeling. Lastly, the recalled cheeses were distributed until February 16th, 2021. Currently the CDC has reported that there are 10 people infected with listeria across four states. If you have this product, the company advises that it should not be consumed. It can either be disposed of or returned to its place of purchase.
