Young-Hee manages the junior
and senior year classes, food microbiology laboratory and the food analysis
laboratory. Food Microbiology Laboratory
(FS 363) and Food Analysis Laboratory (FS 469) are required undergraduate-level
courses and are taken concurrently with Food Microbiology (FS 362) and Food
Analysis (FS 467), respectively. These courses are offered to give students
hands-on experiences with microbial testing, molecular methods, and analytical
techniques that are employed by the food industry and research laboratories.
