2025–26 Animal Sciences scholarship recipients announced

The Department of Animal Sciences awarded $72,200 in scholarships to incoming and current students for the 2025–26 academic year. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of donors.
 

Incoming student scholarships were awarded to:

  • The Eric B. and Fran Luckman Award — Amber Henigin
  • Charles L. and Jean Rueff Scholarship — Landon Barr and Taylor Schmitt
 

The following current students also received scholarships:

  • Robert W. Baltzell Scholarship — Charlie Cummings, Abigail Johnson and Ashlynn Smith
  • Baumgardt Family Scholarship — Kendyl Brown and William Eberhart
  • Blaine Crowl Memorial Scholarship — Gabrielle Deakins and Kayla Johnson
  • Howard L. Daugherty Memorial Scholarship — Avery Donaldson
  • John Henry Hinkle Memorial Scholarship — Madelynn Etchinson, Reese Figus and Emily Mawhorter
  • R. L. Hogue Award — Jenna Bowe
  • Indiana State Poultry Association Scholarship — Evan Brown and Madison Oliver
  • Emerson J. Kuhn Scholarship — Lorén Ortiz Ocasio and Abigail Zelt

  • Thrasher Family Scholarship— Jillian Brubaker, Medi Guest and Elyse Kim
