2022 Botany and Plant Pathology Research Showcase

Held on November 8 at the Beck Agricultural Center, the 2022 Research Showcase highlights findings that fuel the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology's mission to protect the environment, improve plants, and manage natural resources. Over 65 graduate students, post doctoral researchers, visiting scholars, and undergraduate students had the opportunity to present their research to several faculty, staff, and industry partners. In addition to the poster presentations, we had several lightning talks from spring Weier award and travel grant winners.

Wrapping up the evening, the department recognized the following award winners:

  • Mariela Fernandez-Campos - Outstanding Graduate Leadership

  • Cade Kane - Outstanding PhD

  • Xiaohui Li - Outstanding PhD

  • Kyrstin M. Roberts - Best Undergrad Poster

Congratulations to our award winners and a big thank you to our two sponsors for this event - Inari and Ag Alumni Seed.
