Han’s Veteran Project
Han is working on a veteran farmer food safety education project. This project aims to evaluate the knowledge, practice, and attitude of veteran farmers toward food safety. Another goal of this project is to develop educational materials to address the challenges that veteran farmers could face. Learning circles were used as one of the interventions in the study. This required the farmers and educators to meet monthly to learn and discuss certain farming topics. Dr. Feng and Han are responsible for providing information about farming food safety.
