Indiana Small Farm Conference

At the 13th Annual Purdue Extension Indiana Small Farm Conference in Danville, Indiana, our Food Safety Human Factor Lab hosted an Active Learning Session on Postharvest Dehydration: Food Safety and Beyond.

Attendees had the chance to participate in interactive activities, learning about produce drying and key food safety practices to reduce risk and ensure safe, effective drying practice at home.

They walked away with practical knowledge to apply at home, gaining a fresher, more engaging approach to learning about food safety, and an experience the audience truly enjoyed.

Did you miss this session? No worries! If you are looking for reliable recipes and expert guidance on drying produce safely, visit our website for a library of extension resources packed with useful information.
