Kirkland Signature Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke Recalled due to Potential Listeria Contamination
On September 20, 2025, Western United Fish Company dba Annasea Foods Group announced a recall of 3,314.7 pounds of Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke. This recall is due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The affected products were sold at the deli section of Costco Warehouses in Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. The product was packaged in clear plastic clamshells and displays a Pack Date of 9/18/2025 and a Sell By Date of 9/22/2025.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, nausea, headache, stiffness, and abdominal pain in healthy persons and can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people, and people with weakened immune systems.
