NRES Ambassadors

NRES MembersNRES Ambassadors are a group of students selected to represent the NRES program. They meet with and give tours to guests and prospective students. Ambassadors also represent the department at various events. Ambassadors are selected in the spring semester.

NRES Ambassador Application Process

The application process to become an ambassador begins in the spring semester. To be considered for the program you must submit an application with a resume. Once your application is reviewed you may be contacted for an interview. If selected you will be asked to prepare a five minute presentation about what you can contribute​ to the outreach and image of the NRES Program.​

Part of being an ambassador is participating in the ambassador blog. This is an opportunity for prospective students, current students, and the ambassadors to learn more about the NRES Program.

Take a Tour

If you are interested in learning more about the NRES program, come take a tour. Contact us at nres@purdue.edu to set an appointment for you and your family to meet with an ambassador, take a tour of the department, or attend a class.
