Agricultural Campus iPod Tour

Welcome! Use this iPod tour to help you navigate the main buildings on the Purdue Agricultural campus. During the tour, Purdue Ag Ambassadors tell you a little about each building. Numbers on the audio/video segments match numbers on the map for buildings. Allow about an hour for your tour.

We strongly encourage you to contact us and sign up with us for a guided tour of campus with a tour guide — a much richer experience!

Audio-Only Tour
The Audio-Only Tour should work on all mp3/mp4 players.

STEP 1: Download the Audio iPod Tour (27 MB Zip) and the Campus Tour Map (PDF).
STEP 2: Unzip the compressed Audio iPod tour to your computer using Compressed Folders on Windows or Stuffit Expander for Mac OS X.
STEP 3: Plug your mp3 or mp4 player into your computer, load the Audio Tour files from the "iPodAudioTour" folder onto your player. Disconnect your player.
STEP 4: You are now ready to enjoy the Audio iPod tour. Use the audio segments with your printed map to find your way around the Purdue Agriculture campus and get to know the buildings. The numbers on the audio segments match the building numbers on the map.

Audio/Video iPod Tour
The Audio/Video iPod Tour segments are .mp4 files and work on video players.

STEP 1: Download the Video iPod tour (72 MB Zip) and the Campus Tour Map (PDF) to your computer.
STEP 2: Unzip the compressed iPod tour to your computer using Compressed Folders on Windows or Stuffit Expander for Mac OS X. They'll appear in an "iPod_Tour Folder." This may take a while.
STEP 3: Plug your iPod into your computer and create a new playlist (Purdue Ag Tour) for your iPod tour.
STEP 4: Import the video files (.mp4) into your new Purdue Ag Tour playlist. Disconnect your iPod.
STEP 5: You are now ready to enjoy the Video iPod tour. Use the video segments with your printed map to find your way around the Purdue Agriculture campus and get to know the buildings. The numbers on the video segments match the building numbers on the map.
