Ag Students win Purdue Student Body Elections in 2012!

President and Vice President of Purdue from 2012-2013Joe Rust, a sophomore in Agribusiness Management, and his running mate, Lexi Hiland, were elected the 2012-13 President and Vice President of Purdue Student Government. They received just over 50% of the votes (2957). Check out their video campaign on Youtube!

Cory Harris, a sophomore in Agricultural Economics and Political Science, and Kalyn Rose, a sophomore in Agricultural Economics, were elected to serve as the College of Agriculture Senators. Cory and Kalyn raised campaign funds from their home town Farm Bureaus, FFA Chapters, and other community organizations. They also worked with a small group of friends and supporters to help with photos, web designed, and large projects like chalking and flyering.
