Cargill Global Scholars Program Informational Webinars

Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 7:00 PM EST | Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 4:00 PM EST | Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 4:00 PM EST

This program is open to:  

  • Current freshman and sophomores (students who have enough credits to qualify as juniors, but won't be graduating until sometime between May 2024 and August 2025, are also eligible)
  • Citizens or permanent residents of the United States
  • Students who demonstrate leadership potential and high academic performance
  • Scholarship winners will receive a $2,500.00 scholarship per year for two years

Wilbur-Ellis Innovation Award Competition 
Invites student teams from U.S. colleges and universities to propose new and better approaches for providing food for more people – a critical imperative, since the world population is expected to increase by 2 billon people by 2050. The team that submits the best proposal will win a $25,000 top prize, and $5,000 honorable mentions may also be awarded. The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, April 4, 2022.

Fall 2021 Ag Career Fair Week

The College of Agriculture hosts a career fair and other events every fall and spring semester. This year, the College is using Career Fair Plus (CFP) for all career fairs.  Students must sign up for schedules to be admitted to the fair area. Because fair organizers will be required to monitor capacity, students will rotate in and out of the fair area based on their scheduled times. Students, download the CFP app from App Store or Googleplay.

At the career fair, some employers will invite students for an interview.  The schedule will be determined by the employer.
Students will arrive, at their scheduled time, on the second floor of Young and will be checked in by a CCO staff person.

College of Agriculture Fall 2021 Virtual Career Fair

Thursday, October 7 | 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Students will log on via their myCCO and Career Fair Plus accounts.  In addition to scheduled appointments, many employers are using group schedules which will allow students to simply 'drop-in' and visit with employers.
