Special Boilermakers

 

Established in 1981, the Purdue Alumni Association “Special Boilermaker Award” has been presented to Purdue faculty or staff members who contributed significantly to the improvement of the quality of life and/or the betterment of the educational experience for a substantial number of Purdue students.

Through 2017, ninety-three individuals received the “Special Boilermaker Award.” Eleven Purdue Agriculture faculty and staff members were recognized along with five who earned School of Agriculture bachelor’s degrees prior to serving in Purdue positions elsewhere on campus.
