​LDCP Committee

College of Agriculture Leadership Development Certificate Program Committee is a College of Agriculture administrative committee with the task of administering the Leadership Development Certificate Program. This committee will provide oversight for the Leadership Development Certificate Program, approve the students’ Professional Development Plans, recommend individual student leadership development certification, and support the coaches’ efforts. Annual membership on this committee will be recommended by each department head as requested by the associate dean and director of academic programs. Unless specifically stated otherwise, term of membership on this committee is not limited.

Steering

College of Agriculture Leadership Development Certificate Program Steering Committee will be responsible for developing plans and procedures for the College of Agriculture Leadership Development Certificate Program and report directly to the College of Agriculture Leadership Development Certificate Program Committee. The steering committee is composed of the chair of the College of Agriculture Leadership Development Certificate Program Committee, a representative from the Office of Academic Programs, graduate students, undergraduates, and volunteers from the respective academic departments (not to exceed three departments).

Advisory

College of Agriculture Leadership Development Certificate Program Advisory Committee will be comprised of representatives from agricultural businesses, industry, alumni, and community leadership. Their primary responsibility will be to provide volunteer leadership in evaluating the effectiveness of the Leadership Development Certificate Program, provide advice relative to leadership experiences recommended to students, and promote and support the Leadership Development Certificate Program and its leadership certificate holders to our stakeholders. Invitation to serve on the advisory committee will be at the discretion of the dean of agriculture. Candidates will be selected based on their ability and willingness to serve and provide leadership to the program.
