Ten new faculty in basic plant sciences

Funded by the Institute for Plant Sciences, the Center for Plant Biology is hiring 10 new faculty positions to expand research and education in basic plant biology. Since 2015, nine faculty members have joined the Center with one more arriving in January of 2018. Out of the ten new hires, six are in the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology, three are in the Department of Biochemistry, and one has a joint appointment in the Department of Entomology and the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources.
