The center brings data about consumers to farmers and information about farms to consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:40px\"><strong>WE MAKE CFDAS DATA WORKFLOWS EASY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Using our experience in data engineering, management and analytics, ADS support the CFDAS across key data initiatives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Strategy<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On top of the technical component, we helped to see the big picture by taking a high-level view of the center needs, opportunities, and&nbsp;data assets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We built a long-term plan that defines the technology, processes, resources, and frameworks required to manage CFDAS information assets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Data Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We allowed the center to overcome their information gaps by providing the appropriate infrastructure and tools to access, process, and analyze data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We helped to automate the centre&#8217;s processes; this automation increases time\u00a0\u00a0to analyze data and discover new research opportunities.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We designed and deployed a data warehouse to store and integrate food-economics related data that can be retrieved and analyzed to provide useful insight into the center\u2019s operation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The&nbsp;CFDAS&nbsp;at Purdue tracks consumer insights and the economics of the food system to produce timely reports on trends and emerging topics.
