Purdue's School of Nursing is taking health and making it fun. All ages can participate in hands-on health-related activities. Free crafts, snacks, and health information will be provided.
  • Feeling stressed? Take a mental vacation. Join us for free head massages, a sampling of relaxing lotions and teas, information about the different types of stress, and a take-home pamphlet.
  • Learn how to decrease your waist circumference. Get a free, healthy snack, plus educational diet handouts and a tape measure you can take home to continue to monitor your health.
  • Get into the Bone Zone - Learn about nutrition and bone health for all ages from Mr. Funny Bones. Enjoy a free bone-healthy snack and watch our simulation.
  • Find out your blood pressure. We will provide screenings and education for anyone 3 or older. We also have free face painting for kids.
  • Do you feel safe in your home? Talk with a firefighter, color a safety page, and get your children fit for proper helmets.
  • Kids need their ZZZs. Enjoy soothing bedtime music and see what your bedroom should look like for a better night's sleep. Learn about sleep requirements for all ages, sudden infant death syndrome, sleep apnea, and behavioral and cognitive disorders in children.
  • Learn the importance of childhood mental health. Promote positve self-image through fun crafts and activities like finger painting and puppets.
  • Don't sit. Get fit.See how easy it is to incorporate fitness into your life with information about local fitness in the community.
  • Join us in our fight to kick butts and pledge to quit smoking today. See Lou Wheeze with her normal lung and smoker's lung. Spin a wheel to learn more information about smoking and smokeless tobacco.
  • Test your hand washing skills and sink the germs in our beanbag toss.
