Graduate Student Profile
Amanda grew up on a small family beef farm in Jennings County, Indiana. She is currently a graduate research assistant to Dr. Abigail Borron, an assistant professor in Ag Communication at Purdue. Amanda is interested in finding new ways to communicate about agriculture with various people, audiences and cultures in an engaging, interactive way. Her thesis work is centered on describing food pantry users’ perceptions of available meat products in Tippecanoe County and their preferences for receiving information about food.
