Graduate Student Profile
Emma Allen is a Masters student in the Youth Development and Agricultural Education Department. She is very passionate about animal agriculture and enjoys every opportunity she gets to talk about agriculture. As an undergraduate here at Purdue University, she was involved in undergraduate research in the Animal Science Department. In the summer of 2015, her undergraduate research was published as a manuscript in the Professional Animal Scientist. Her other related experience includes serving as a Purdue Extension Intern in Lake County, Indiana in May 2014 and being an undergraduate teaching assistant in ANSC 102. Her passion is in educating the 4-Hers of tomorrow and exposing youth to animal agriculture.

Using technology to bring animal based knowledge to people who don’t have access to place-based animal experience, application of animal science based knowledge in 4-H, and enhance learning environments for students in online animal science courses .Designing educational modules to teach science through the lens of the Dairy Industry
