The Center for Plant Biology offers state-of-the-art plant imaging technology and expertise to support basic research in a broad range of sub disciplines. Faculty and students benefit from nearly 40 specialized research core facilities as well as a 7,300-square-foot controlled environment phenotyping facility and the only field phenotyping facility at a U.S. university. Those working with the Center also can access more than 85,000 square feet of greenhouse space, hundreds of climate-controlled growth chambers, and 1,400 acres at the Agronomy Center for Research and Education. The combined facilities, coupled with diverse faculty research areas, give graduate students outstanding opportunities.
