Welcome to the Wood Research Laboratory (WRL)
The WRL is a unit in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, located on the Purdue campus, Forest Products Building (FPRD), 175 Marsteller Street, West Lafayette, IN 47907.
The WRL mission is to:
- Develop new knowledge and add value to biomaterials
- Encourage innovation in wood-based products
- Improve wood products engineering
- Develop new processing technologies
- Develop new uses for wood residues
- Assist Indiana wood products manufacturers
