Limited Term Lecturer
  • The Department of Entomology is seeking applications for a Limited Term Lecturer. LTL positions are temporary, non-benefits eligible, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Learn more about the opportunity here.
Senior Events CoordinatoR
  • The Senior Events Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support for the Center for Urban and Industrial Pest Management programs and activities. This includes planning and coordinating the annual on-campus and virtual Purdue Pest Management conferences, which are designed to ensure the licensing of applicators for household and business pesticide use. You will coordinate delivery of online and correspondence courses in Insect Pest Management, delivered through Purdue Online Education and other externally funded education programs. Under the guidance of the business development manager and in consultation with industry and faculty partners, periodically review existing programming to ensure their continuing relevance and excellence of delivery. You will liaise with state regulatory entities to secure state approvals of continuing education credit and certification credits as well as provide support for the Urban Center online and correspondence course offerings, including content creation, maintenance, and assessment automation. This position will also provide support for new educational programming, based on external funding opportunities and business development initiatives on the state, national, and international scale, and track expenses/payments for both the conference and continuing education programs.
