Rebecca Goetz is the coordinator for the Publishing Unit and Education Store. She also consults with and edits material for Purdue Agriculture's Office of Academic Programs and the Office of Multicultural Programs. Goetz joined the Agricultural Communication Department in 1991 as a science writer and editor of a quarterly tabloid. In 2001, she moved from the writing to the editing staff. She became coordinator of Publishing in 2009 and coordinator for The Education Store in 2011. From 1986 to 1991 she was a preveterinary medicine student counselor and outreach coordinator for science teachers for the Office of Academic Programs. She also has been a writer and illustrator in the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology; an admissions counselor for Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio; and a high school general science teacher. Goetz earned a bachelor's degree in biology and education from Heidelberg University and a master of agriculture degree from Purdue in horticulture and journalism.
