May term in New Zealand

Summary

This past May, I had the opportunity to go to New Zealand on a study-abroad trip. We were gone for two weeks at the end of May and visited five cities on the north island. All 15 girls and one guy explored various farms, orchards, and tourist sites. We learned about everything from kiwi fruit and dairy cows to glow worms and hobbits. It was a fantastic experience, and I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to go abroad and learn about other cultures and agricultural practices. One of my favorite experiences was visiting the kiwi fruit and avocado orchard. Before the trip, I knew nothing about fruit production, but I learned tons there. While driving from city to city, we stopped at multiple tourist locations like Hobbiton and the glow worm caves as more touristy destinations.
