Spring SASES at K-State
Summary
This past week a group of 10 agronomy club members had the opportunity to travel to Kansas State for the Regional SASES meeting. SASES is the student organization of agronomy, soil, and environmental science societies. While we were there, we had the opportunity to listen to multiple speakers in the industry, tour a few facilities, and compete in the crop's content. The spring meetings are normally smaller and only have about 10-20 schools attend, unlike in the fall when everyone in the tri societies is invited to attend. The annual fall meeting has thousands of people from all over who present their research and learn from one another. Spring SASES is a great way to meet other agronomy clubs and people from all across the United States. It was a great time, and I can't wait until next year!
