Study Abroad!

Last spring break I had the opportunity to study abroad in Brazil. It was my first study abroad and I thought it would probably be my only one. Brazil was my top choice for a study abroad destination, and it ended up being one of the best weeks of my life. We explored the historical town of Ouro Preto, met with agriculture students, a coffee farmer, and cheese making family in Viscosa, and were tourists in Rio de Janiero. Shoutout to our guide, Leandro, who was amazing. It was such a great opportunity to learn something new while seeing the most beautiful places. It got me out of my comfort zone and I made some amazing friends along the way!
I wish I would have studied abroad sooner and now I am not wasting any opportunity to do it again in my last year of college. Over Christmas break, I am going to New Zealand (so excited to see a kiwi!!) and next spring break I am probably going to Greece. I figure money will come back but these opportunities to go places won’t, so why not go see some of the world. I highly recommend studying abroad to anyone who hasn’t done it yet, you won’t regret it at all!
