The Last Leg

Hello! My name is Kyra, and I am a Senior in Agronomy for the 25-26 school year. We are only 3 weeks into the year, and I am already starting to feel the effects of the “lasts”. My last first day as an undergrad, my last first assignment, the last Agronomy Club callout as an officer, and so many more lasts that I have both dreamed of and feared. Looking back at the past 3 years, it has been a rollercoaster of events. Some of the bests have been getting involved in Agronomy Club, Sigma Alpha, and Studying Abroad. These are the things that when I look back on my college years, I will remember till the day I die. They have been life changing opportunities that have aided and changed the trajectory of my career. They have made Purdue feel like home in many ways. As I am on the last leg of my undergrad, I will continue to be a servant and member of these activities. However, it is crazy and bittersweet to know they are coming to an end. I hope after I graduate, these and many other activities around campus can give students the pleasure of calling Purdue home!
