Hello! My name is Justin Bedel, and I’m a sophomore from Greensburg, Indiana, studying Agronomy with a concentration in Crop and Soil Management. This is my first year as an ambassador, and I am so excited to share what the Department of Agronomy has to offer prospective students. It's hard to believe we’re already four weeks into the semester. It feels like just yesterday I was starting my summer internship with Premier Ag. As an Agronomy Operations Intern, I had the chance to help farmer account representatives scout fields to ensure healthy crop development. I also assisted with product logistics for growers and helped maintain trial plots that teach farmers methods for achieving high yields. I'm looking forward to what this sophomore year will bring and plan to use the experiences from my freshman year and my internship to build on my success in the classroom.
