FACULTY AND EXTENSION SPECIALISTS

When you are finished entering information for the year (or anytime) into any of these screens:

  1. USDA Reporting
  2. Learning Events
  3. Other Activities
  4. Impact Statements

you may run summary reports to compile what you’ve entered. These custom reports pull from all four Digital Measures screens.

Instructions:

From the top navigation, select “Reports.” In that listing, you will find 3 Extension reports:

  1. “Extension - Summary (new September 1, 2021)”
  2. "Extension - Impact Statements (new September 1, 2021)"
  3. "Z Faculty and Extension Specialists - Summary (through August 31, 2021)"

Look carefully at the dates. The first and second reports pull data from Sept. 1, 2021 and forward ONLY. The third report pulls data only from Aug. 31, 2021 and earlier. These reports are built to pull data ONLY based on NEW screens updated in 2021, or the OLD screens, not both. (The OLD screens are not visible anymore, but you can still pull data from them using the "Z" report.)

To access the narrative you wrote for impact statements:

  1. If dates are starting with September 1, 2021, -- use the report, "Extension - Impact Statements (new September 1, 2021)"
  2. If dates are through August 31, 2021 -- use the report, "Z Faculty and Extension Specialists - Summary (through August 31, 2021)"

Depending on the dates for the data you need, you may have to run multiple reports.

  • Select a report.
  • Set the date range.
  • Click “Run Report.”

These reports create WORD documents for your records.

Please do NOT use the Rapid Reports button at the top of the DM screen. It does NOT always work for our custom-built reports.

EXTENSION EDUCATORS

  4. USDA Reporting (Only Specialists enter data on this screen, but on rare occasions they may include Educators on their team.)

you may run summary reports to compile what has been entered. These custom reports pull from all four Digital Measures screens.

  2. "Extension - Impact Statements (new September 1, 2021)"

NOTE for County Extension Directors (CEDs) -- the DM reports you run will automatically include all the Educators in your County. If you want to run a report for your own individual data, you will need to select "INDIVIDUAL" and then your name when you are setting up the report.

FYI - The DATE RANGE for Educators' Annual Review is Sept. 1 - Aug. 31.
