Animal Caretaker Job Description
The Purdue Sheep Research and Education Center is seeking qualified students to fill a part-time position. Our goal is to provide quality research while offering educational opportunities to students who have a sincere interest in sheep production agriculture. Applicants should be dependable, conscientious, and self-motivated with a desire to learn and take on responsibility. Good communication skills are a must. Previous Sheep/farm equipment experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants should expect to work 1-2 weekends per month, and some holidays.
Daily Job Tasks include:
Assisting with basic production of animals and forages, feeding, research, and maintenance of facilities.
