Alberto Fereres (MS ’88) receives 2017 Osmun Award

The 2017 recipient of the John V. Osmun Alumni Professional Achievement Award in Entomology was Alberto Fereres. Dr. Fereres received his MS in Entomology from Purdue in 1988 and has gone on to have an illustrious career in Madrid, Spain. His group is internationally renowned for their work on the feeding behavior of sap-sucking insects and their transmission of plant viruses. To view the award presentation seminar, click here.
