Purdue Extension - FNR Extension
Diana is the Extension Information Coordinator for the department. Working in the Extension Office gives her the opportunity to help bring forestry and natural resources into one location for quick responses to worldwide requests, to collaborate with the state-wide community and the Purdue community. Sharing publications, videos, scheduled workshops, teaching material and "how to" articles from our Purdue scientists, researchers and specialists are just a few of the resources she can provide. Diana also designed and shares many resources to professionals, students, prospective students and outdoor enthusiasts with the Department Got Nature? blog site.
Along with gathering information for extension, she is also responsible for gathering, designing and sharing information on the department web site. As the building deputy for the Forestry building she shares safety information to faculty and staff.
Prior to joining FNR in 2010, Diana held positions at the University in Civil Engineering as webmaster and administrative assistant to the department head.
Diana continues in her professional development with courses in web, software tools and writing.
