Jean Jensen is a Research Scientist in the Department of Food Science at Purdue University and holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry. She has 20+ years of expertise in research and development, analytical chemistry, and quality control and assurance evaluation. She has served as the Research Scientist and Lab Manager of the Food Technology and Development Laboratory as well as the Coordinator of the Food Processing and Environmental Assistance Center.  She currently serves as Brewing Chemist and Analyst in the Chemical Analysis and Bioprocessing Laboratories in Food Science, supporting the Indiana brewing industry through analyzing and testing raw materials (hops, grains, water, etc.) as well as finished fermented products.
