Indiana Climate Change Impacts Assessment
Putting Global Change Into Local Perspective
About the Indiana Climate Change Impacts Assessment
The Indiana Climate Change Impacts Assessment (IN CCIA) was a statewide effort led by Purdue University with contributions from over 100 experts across the state. The IN CCIA brought together the best available climate change research into a series of reports designed to help Hoosiers better understand climate change-related risks so they could prepare for challenges and capitalize on opportunities. Over 50 participating organizations provided input into the IN CCIA by helping co-author reports, reviewing materials, and sharing results. In total, nine topic-based reports were released on a rolling schedule from 2018 to 2022.
The IN CCIA was originally overseen by the Purdue Climate Change Research Center (PCCRC), which was integrated into Purdue’s Institute for a Sustainable Future (ISF) in 2022.
