An unexpected bond

Summary

As a Purdue student we are given a countless amount of opportunities to grow, explore, and take risks. Little did I know that a leap of faith that I took junior year spring break would result in a bond that could never be broken.

Junior year was a rough one; I got broken up with, I was drowning in school work, I transferred to a new school. I was so lost and decided that I was going to get out of my comfort zone and do a study abroad to get away from the noise at home. Little did I know that short study abroad trip to Ireland would change my life forever. In just a short week I met my best friend, my future roommate, and my human diary. The person who taught me what unconditional love in a friendship can look like, a positive and healthy friendship, and what a supportive friendship looks like.

Fast forward to my last semester of senior year; this girl lives right across the hall from me, is the best doggie aunt, my #1 fan, and future maid of honor. We spend countless number of nights laughing, crying, and planning our dream weddings all moments that I will cherish forever. Not only has she taught me more then any lecture could teach me but, has introduced me to man of my dreams in which I could not thank her enough for.

With all that being said, during your time at purdue take the risk and be uncomfortable for just a little bit of time because something beautiful can come of it!
