Co-Alliance Internship

Hi guys!

My name is Olivia Stratton and I’m a junior in Agronomy with a concentration in Agronomic Business and Marketing. This summer I was granted the opportunity to work for Co-Alliance as a field scout. This was my first summer internship and it was a great experience. I was able to perform a variety of different tasks from fixing weather stations to scouting and collecting tissue samples from fields. I definitely learned so much from this in-field experience and it helped to heavily reinforce the concepts I learned in the classroom. This internship gave me the opportunity to interact with corn and soybeans in many different growth stages and really familiarize myself with the growing process. I am truly grateful to have been able to have this internship experience.
