Anna Phillips
Anna Phillips is a master's student studying under Dr. Bryan Young. Anna grew up in Southern Indiana, where she earned her associate degree at Vincennes University. Anna transferred to and graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Crop Science. Anna joined the Young lab in May of 2026 and will be studying stored reserves in waterhemp and Palmer amaranth. This research will focus on non-structural carbohydrates and vegetative storage proteins, as well as their role in compensatory regrowth of these species.
