Leonard Piveta

Leonard Piveta is a weed scientist with a diverse educational background, holding a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree from the Federal University of Pelotas, Brazil, serving as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR. Currently, Leonard works as a Postdoctoral Researcher under the mentorship of Dr. Bill Johnson. His research focuses on herbicide efficacy, herbicide resistance, and integrated weed management. In his prior role as a Research Scientist, working closely with Distinguished Professor Dr. Jason Norsworthy at the University of Arkansas, he significantly contributed to diverse research projects, showcasing adept skills in managing experiments and supervising graduate and undergraduate students.
