Student Laborer Job Description
The Purdue Farm Operations Research and Education Center is seeking qualified students to fill a part-time position. Our goal is to provide quality research while offering educational opportunities to students who have a sincere interest in production agriculture. Applicants should be dependable, conscientious, and self-motivated with a desire to learn and take on responsibility. Good communication skills are a must. Previous farm equipment experience is preferred, but not required.
Daily Job Tasks include:
General housekeeping, painting, washing equipment, grounds keeping, haul crops in from fields, normal record keeping, assist in maintenance of equipment, and operate large equipment. On occasion you could be sent to other units to assist them during peak times.
