2026 Summer Test: Off-Test Summary

Bulls have been weighed off-test. The Performance Index cutoff for sale eligibility was 93.2.

We've all experienced the same heat and humidity in recent weeks, and it took its toll on performance these last couple of periods. I say it each summer test: when night time temperatures do not fall below 70 degrees, it does not allow cattle to release the heat load from the day and keeps that heat stress on them. We've not observed any bull with open mouth breathing, they just aren't very active and intake has been lower.

Bulls still look good - that has been echoed by those who have been here to help evaluate, process and view bulls.
