Welcome to Poultry @ Purdue! This site contains information on aspects of poultry production and management, as well as valuable resources for use in education and outreach. The poultry unit has facilities located at ASREC utilized for research in nutrition, physiology, environmental influences and genetics, as well as for teaching and extension activities. Indiana ranks number 1 in duck and egg-type breeders, number 4 in egg production, number 7 in turkey production and number 14 in broiler production.
