Ethylene Biology
The Yoon lab focuses on investigating the regulation of the plant hormone ethylene biosynthesis and its signaling pathways. Our research aims to unravel the molecular, genetic, and biochemical mechanisms underlying the functional link between ethylene biosynthesis and stress responses, as well as the spatiotemporal coordination of the ethylene signaling components to control ethylene responses. Employing a multidisciplinary approach, we strive to achieve a comprehensive understanding of how plants regulate ethylene biosynthesis and signaling.
