Dr. Angel Aguiar is a Research Economist in the Center for Global Trade Analysis. He works in the construction of the GTAP Data Base.  He also teaches at the GTAP Short Courses, and his research interests include international trade issues.

Angel earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, a M.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Idaho, and a Bachelor in Business and Economics from the University of Idaho. Angel began his Economics course work at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
