Carol began her employment with the Department of Agricultural Economics on October 1, 1990. Prior to taking this position, she was a secondary mathematics teacher with the Indianapolis Public Schools, a Computer Programmer and a Computer Support Manager for Indiana Bell Telephone, Indianapolis, and a Software Support Manager for Ameritech Services, Inc. Chicago. Carol holds a permanent Indiana Teaching License.

Carol is responsible for the Ag Econ computer network. The network consists of several Windows servers for approximately 200 faculty, staff, clerical and graduate students as well as WWW servers for instructional and informational use. Included with the support of the network is technical support, software installation, training and help desk support.

In her free time, Carol is a Distinguished Fellow of Saint Joseph's College and serves as President of the Council of Fellows. Carol is  Secretary of the Board of Directors for The Gibault Foundation, Inc. She is also Trustee Emeritus of the Board of Trustees for Gibault, Inc. in Terre Haute, Indiana having served on the board for nine years and secretary for three years. Carol is Past Chairman of the Jasper County Youth Center Division Board in Rensselaer.She is a Trustee Emeritus of Saint Joseph's College having served on several fund raising committees during her 15 years on the Board.
