Transitioning

Hi my name is Josie Wilhelm. I am a senior here at Purdue, majoring in agronomy. This is my third semester here at Purdue, and I am planning to graduate in May of 2019. Prior to attending Purdue, I went to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M college, a junior college in Oklahoma. That was a great opportunity to get into the swing of things in a collegiate setting and to gain some independence since it was 9-10 hours away from my home and everything I knew. Once I graduated from there in 2017, I knew I wanted to be closer to home and my family which led me here, an hour from home.

This time last year I was just getting the feel for a school as big as Purdue, which makes it hard to believe that I only have one semester left.  I have made so many good friends and have learned a lot while being here, I joined Agronomy Ambassadors at my second semester and am looking forward to the opportunities it will bring.
