After data are collected, researchers will organize and analyze it to derive regional estimates of deer density, impacts on vegetation, and attitudes/perceptions of people towards deer. Results of the Project will be published in scientific journals and provided to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to help them in white-tailed deer management efforts.

Fieldwork occurs between January-August of each year from 2019-2021. An in-depth description of our monthly process can be found in the timeline.
