​Entomology Undergraduate Capstone Forum

Spring Semester 2020

The Spring Semester 2020 Undergraduate Capstone Forum is scheduled for Thursday, April 30 (tentatively from 3:30-5:00 pm) in WSLR 116. Successful completion of the capstone experience, including an oral presentation, and a written paper or poster, is a departmental requirement for graduation.   • It is the responsibility of each student to email the title of their capstone presentation to Dr. Richmond no later than March 31st if they intend to make their presentation during Spring Semester 2020. A final schedule for the capstone forum will be available the following week. 

  • Capstone presentations should be limited to 12 minutes with an additional 3 minutes for questions.

  • All students planning to participate in the Fall Semester Capstone Forum should be enrolled in ENTM 49300 during Fall Semester. After consulting your capstone mentor for advice on credit hours (1-3), please see Amanda Wilson to register using the course registration number (CRN) of your capstone mentor.

  • After the written capstone report or poster has been reviewed and approved by the capstone mentor, it must be uploaded to the ENTM 49300 capstone summary website no later than Friday, May 5th.  http://www.ag.purdue.edu/entm/Pages/capstone-summaries.aspx

  • If you have difficulties uploading your written report, please email it to Dr. Richmond

If you require special technical assistance with AV or computer equipment for your presentation, please contact the AgIT help desk at least one week in advance of the Forum. By default, the capstone forum will be set-up with a computer and LCD projector. Only students with special presentation requirements above and beyond a computer and projector will need to contact AgIT.
